Updating the header picture with Replace on Auctiva, use to update that picture too, but ebay has made some changes recently. If that doesn't work, you can change that picture using ebay's Revise listing. Just remove and add back the picture. It's possible the picture editor on ebay might also be used to force a refresh on the header picture, since it should show as an Auctiva hosted picture. Haven't tried that yet....

Is it possible to change all the photographs ( in order to comply with ebay's first image - gallery ) once a listing is live on ebay? I ned to relist an auction where the butt of an item showing 'made in Japan' is showing as the gallery image instead of the right photograph. Even if I end the auction and relist the item thru Auctiva I can't figure out how to correct this misorder of the photographs. btw, the item isn't selling..... wonder why. This is where the lag in how the one page lister works following the changes ebay made, has affected me for at least 1/3rd of my listings. Initially I couldn't figure out why the wron photographs were showing up as the galery shots. I'd appreciate any help as this is affcting my sales...
Hi sidhi705,

ebay made a change a few months back to require the Header and Gallery photo be the same at submission, which affected the Auctiva one-page lister's ability to provide two separate photos, one for Gallery and one for Header.

I saw one of the Auctiva folks recently post that they are aware of the problem and were going to remove that feature from the one-page lister in a future release. That problem has caused alot of members to report a similar problem of incorrect Gallery photo. If that's what you are doing, it's the cause.

As for fixing an active auction(s), I'd try using the ebay Revise listing and delete and re-add the Header picture (that's the free one) directly to ebay or change its URL link back to Auctiva to the correct picture. If that doesn't eventually replace the Gallery picture, I have a fix for that too.
