Go to the Images tab on the Auctiva header. Open it,

Over on the right, you will see three actions you can take: Manage, Upload or Folder. Choose Folder. Create a folder for the 10 pics you have. If they can all be put in one folder named XXXXX, great! If not, create as many folders as you may need for the 10 pics.

Then, go to the Upload choice you saw when you first entered the images page. There are three ways to upload. I also have XP and I use the Java upload system. But, there is an activation you must accept before you can do that. Or, you can select the HTML method, which means you upload the pics one at the time from wherever you have them on your computer. Over on the right, don't forget to select the Auctiva folder you created for the pics - otherwise, they will end up scattered to the wind and it will slow your work process trying to find them I have used both, and they work very well. I prefer the Java upload because it is faster, particularly with a great number of photos. You may choose to follow this advice or not (it won't affect your work), but I only upload the larger size photos, say 20kb or larger. They will work better, and we don't end up cluttering our photo files and the Auctive server with photos we will probably never use.

Once you have the photos loaded into the appropriate files, go on about your listing process. When you get to the point for inserting images, just click on the image space and you will be taken to the image section where you can select your folder to display, and then select the photos you wish to use. As you click on each photo, it will be tagged with a number (like 1,2,3,4,etc), and when you reach 16, that is the maximum number you can load onto the listing (unless you know enough HTML to have them in your description. I have both.

Hope this is helpful.
