How do I use forms and radio buttons in listing

I can't find any information on using forms and buttons in listings. When you create a form and it asks for "action" what do you put and what does it generate? Same with radio buttons - it asks for value...if I put a value in, what happens when a person clicks the button? Does it indicate something when the winning bidder checks out? HELP!!

Hi - I too would like some help with the same thing, I know these can be used (with the right coding) to send me an email for example, with my customers color choices..... Thanks!
