My custom template(which I've used in eBay for the past three years) does not seem to work in Auctiva. I tried copying my html code directly into the details section, and it showed up in eBay as html. It didn't change to regular text.

So then I created custom pages (I think that's what they're called), but they do not seem to work either. I cannot figure how to get them included in the details section.

I also have my photos hosted by photobucket and included in my template. Is this possible? Or do I need to have my photos hosted by either eBay or Auctiva?

I'm really quite confused about how to list my products in eBay using Auctiva.

Please help me as soon as possible. I've been working on this one listing all day with no success.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Perre -

My first suggestion is for you to follow the Custom Template Tutorial put together by some of our very knowledgeable community members. You can find it here https://community.auctiva.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6881044121/m/1251067521 which is at the top of the Templates & Custom Templates section. It is very detailed and should get you on your way.

If you still have questions after that, file a support request (bottom of the Help page) and our customer support team can help you further. Smile

Good luck!

Almost forgot - you can still use your images from photobucket but you have to enter the URLs per listing.

On the one-page lister, when you are listing and getting ready to enter your images, there is a link at the bottom of the images section that says "switch to externally hosted images". Once you click that, you then click on the Select an Image box as normal and enter your image URLs.

And if you plan on always using externally hosted images you can set this as a preference in your Account settings. My Account tab --> Account Settings --> Image Management section --> Default Image Hosting.

Thanks!

Make sure you enter it in the plain text mode and NOT the design mode. Entering the HTML in design mode will cause it to show as HTML on ebay Wink

However I would follow the above steps to make it a custom template here on Auctiva!
