I just sold my first thing through auctiva. The item was a store item and sold it through best offer. My question is, how long does it normally take before the transaction shows up under Sales>Transactions?

If I remember correctly, it could take up to six hours. However, if you still haven't seen the item show up since you posted yesterday, I'd definitely file a support request (bottom of the Help page).
It did finally show up but not until the customer paid for the auction via paypal. Is that normal?

It should typically take 4-6 hours from when the listing closes for it to be displayed on your transactions page. If a listing is taking longer than that to show up and you need it imported in order to purchase shipping insurance, please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page:
