How to add different categories?

I've sold on ebay but am new to having a store. I have many different things to sell. If I set up my store selling in a particular area, will I be able to add categories later? For example, if I start out selling books then later want to sell soap, can I do that? Can I add as many categories as I want? .. thanks

Are you talking about an eBay store, or an Auctiva store? Well, either way I guess the answer to your question is YES, you can always add on later.
