I have just activated an Auctiva trial account and spent most of the evening creating profiles, setting preferences, etc. At this point I am ready to apply a template/profile combination to one of my current 40 eBay listing. With one exception they are all "Buy It Now" or BIN/Best Offer listings.

Right now the only Auctiva-related objects appearing in my current listings are the Scrolling Gallery and Sellathon Counter.

Can Auctiva templates be applied to listings retroactively? If so, how? The active listings editor only afffects listing/description elements, not the template.

Hi Mitchell,

Welcome to Auctiva!

While it is possible to revise your existing active eBay listings to use Auctiva's templates, image hosting, and other design features, doing so would require recreating each listing using Auctiva's design tools which would take some time. Some new users prefer to just use Auctiva's templates and deisgn elements in new listings and leave their existing listings intact.

However, you are certainly welcome to try revising a couple of your listings in this manner and deciding for yourself whether it would be worthwhile to do so for the rest of them. In order to accomplish this, you would need to revise each item via the following process:

1) Recreate the listing in Auctiva and click "Save". Since you will only be revising the item description, it is only necessary to fill out the “Item Details” section of the lister page.
2) Once you have finished, click the "Save" button.
3) Return to your Saved Listings page and click the <HTML> icon next to the listing.
4) Highlight and copy the HTML that appears in the pop-up window.
5) Visit the item on eBay and click the “Revise your item” link.
6) Scroll down about 1/3 the page to the “Description” section and click the "HTML" tab on the editor.
7) Delete the html that is already there, paste the copied HTML in its place, and save your changes.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with this process or any other aspect of your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab and selecting the "File Support Case" option.
