Hi Bluesky007,

Thanks for posting your question here. If the image you would like to remove from this active listing is one that you added by placing it directly in the description editor, then the easiest way to remove the image from the listing will be to do do directly from eBay's Revise your Item form.

Once you are on the Revise your Item form for the listing, just click the “Standard” tab on the description editor and you should see all your images as they appear in the listing. From there, you should be able to delete the unwanted image by selecting it with your cursor and pressing the “Delete” button on your keyword.

On the other hand, if the image you would like to delete was added to the Auctiva Image Selection section when the listing was created and has the “Click to Supersize” option, you will need to remove the image via the following process to ensure it is removed from the supersized image page as well:

1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder, make any necessary changes (remove unwanted image), and save.
2) Click the "<HTML> icon to the right of the item on your "Saved Listings" page
3) Select All and copy the html in the popup window.
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
5) Scroll down to the "Description" section and then click the "HTML" tab above the description editor.
6) Delete the existing description HTML, paste the copied HTML in its place, and save your changes.

Finally, if the listing has already received bids and eBay will not allow you to revise the item using one of the methods above, the only way you could delete this image from the listing would be to permanently delete the image from your Image Management page within your Auctiva account.

After you have reached your Image Management page by mousing over the “Images” tab within your account and selecting the “Manage” option, you would need to mark the image as deleted by checking the box next to it and then clicking the “Delete” button.

Once the image has been marked as deleted, in order to make it disappear from the listing immediately (instead of after 14 days), you would need to go to your Deleted Images page by mousing over the “Images” tab and selecting the “Deleted” option, and then permanently delete the image from there.

I hope this helps. For future reference, the most efficient way to receive assistance with your Auctiva account is to contact our customer support team directly by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.

Hi Bluesky007,

I am not aware of any technical problems that would case an Auctiva hosted image to continue showing up in a listing after it has been permanently deleted from the Deleted Images page, unless perhaps you are referring to the eBay hosted copy of the image that would be present if the image was used as the header/gallery image.

If you are still in need of assistance with this, please file a support case from the “Help” tab within your account containing the details of the listing and image in question and we will be happy to look into this further for you.

-Mike
