How to get Old Pics out of Relist?

Hi,

I relisted an auction through ebay because I wanted to change the pictures and the text of the listing which I couldn't do through Auctiva. So I went to relist page, edit, and deleted all of the description (showing Html) so it appeared I got it all. I knew this would erase the Auctiva template and everything else. Then I added new pics, went without a design template, and everything looks fine when I look at the relisted auction. PROBLEM is that the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery shows the wrong (old) pic for that auction with the new, correct title. I deleted the old pics from Auctiva image hosting and still it is showing as "beads" in the scrolling gallery, when I now have pictures of a necklace within the new relisted auction. Any way to correct this? And to keep it from happening again? Thanks.

The scrolling gallery picture should match the header picture, i.e. the one free picture allowed by ebay in it's picture section on the ebay relister/listing editor. If it's an Auctiva hosted picture, ebay's link to the picture should be there. Deleting or replacing the HTML code from the Descripton section won't remove or replace that picture.

To fix, I'd use the ebay listing editor and either upload the picture directly to ebay, or fix the free picture link to a valid picture hosted at Auctiva.

I tried what you advised to correct the picture in the scrolling gallery, but it did not work. The picture in the ebay ad for gallery is correct -it shows up correctly when the item is searched for and in the ad iteself. The only place it shows incorrectly is in the Auctiva scrolling gallery. I tried changing the picture to the URL for the one hosted by Auctiva but that did not work either. So everything on the auction page is correct, except the pic in the scrolling gallery for that auction (which shows up on my other auction pages also.) I see the picture hasn't updated yet on the SG or in your Auctiva Store.

Auctiva periodically syncs with changes done on ebay, usually about every 2-4 hours, i.e. those changes aren't instantaneous. If the header and gallery are now correct, it should sync the SG and Store pics correct at the next update.

If it doesn't update soon (next hour or so depending on when you did the change), try a Support Case and report the auction number and problem. Hopefully, Tech Support can get it to sync.
