How to make html in the description box work?

I've done a search and read through the forums looking for a hint on how to get my html in the description box to work, but obviously, I can't figure it out. I've got everything else in place - photos, the main template, recoded it....this is the only thing I'm stuck on.

It shows the html coding, not the actual result of the html code. I've looked at all the little buttons and I don't see a way to do it.
