Hi,
I have 2 questions.

1. How do I move the store window to the top of my listing, instead of at the bottom?

2. The store window is automaticaaly inserted in my auction listing, at the bottom. But they are not inserted in the store listing. Is this right? Am I supposed to insert the store window manually in the sore inventory listing? or How do I get this store window to show up in all of my 300+ listings in eBay?

Please help.

Hi makeupmystique,

1) If you list through Auctiva, the store window will automatically be displayed at the top of each listing. The only reason it appears at the bottom of imported listings is because it is appended to the active listings.

2) The store window will automatically be inserted into store listings as well. It generally takes 4-6 hours from token generation for all your listings to be imported and appended with the store window.

makeupmystique,

Token generation is what you did when you signed up to associate your eBay account with your Auctiva account.

The store window should have been appended automatically to all your listings, including store listings, and since it hasn't I placed your account on the list to reconcile with eBay. This process should append the store window to those items that are missing it.

If you don't notice the store window has been added by tonight, you may want to regenerate your token at Auctiva -> My Account -> Ebay settings -> Get New Token.

I hope this helps=)

makeupmystique,

The store window is set to display 12 items at a time favoring items that are ending nearest the time of the one being viewed, and is refreshed every 4 hours. Once some of your listings end, they’ll be replaced in the store window with new ones at next refresh. We will be increasing the store window capacity to 20 in the near future.

I asked this question in help and was told I had to manually add this feature to all of my running acutions. At 400 auctions this is crazy. I don't have the time that is why I use Auctiva in the first place. I also got the token from ebay and still my scrolling window has not appeared in any auction except the ones I manually put it in! I sure would like help on this
Hi all,

The store window is set to be appended automatically. Since it has not been appended to your listings, you may want to generate a new token.

If that doesn't work, feel free to file a support case and I'll send it over to engineering so they can investigate why it wasn't added. Just make note in the case that you've already regenerated your token and that it should be sent to engineering.

Trust me...we want to get to the bottom of this=)

Interesting complaint in the original post, this user wants the store window at the top of the listing and not the bottom.

On the other hand, I do not use the Auctiva listing service because it inserts the store window at the top of the listing. I want the store window at the bottom. I know, I can revise the listing, but that is more fuss than I want to do with listings once started.

As a buyer, I do not want to immediately see what else the seller has for sale, I want to see the details for the item in the listing.

Improvement suggestion: have an option for the store window to be at the top or the bottom of a listing when using Auctiva for generating listings.

I really would like to use Auctiva's scheduled listings, photos, and other features, but the store window at the top is just not acceptable to me.

Thanks for listening!
I agree with Ginni. Smile
The store window at the top is very distracting. I think it would also be more effictive at the bottom of the listing. After the buyer reads the description, they might want to see what else the seller has available, especially if shipping can be combined.

Please give this some thought. I am also moving over from Vendio but I'd prefer to stick with Auctiva if that feature could be changed.

Thanks!
Hi all,

The "scrolling" view of the store window is set to appear at the top of your listings. It can, however, be inserted at the bottom of your listings if you insert the store window html in the bottom of the html description. The store window html can be found at Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Store Window HTML.

You may also want to check out the "full" view of the store window as it is set to appear at the bottom of your listings. To preview this view, go to Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Edit Store Window.
