Please tell me there is an easy way to select multiple pictures in image management section.
After I've sold several items I may need to delete 50 pictures, but I do NOT want to click on a tiny box 50 times. So now I have a backlog of 100's of pictures to delete. But the time-honored scheme of holding the shift key to select a range of items (like EVERY email program uses) does not work.
It can't be that hard...

Hi OpportunityDoc,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. As you have pointed out, it is not possible to select multiple consecutive images on your Image Management page through the use of the "Shift" key, but you can select all the images on any given page by clicking within the box located above the check-boxes for the individual images.

Once you have used the “Items per page” drop down menu to set your Image Management page to display the ideal number of images for the deletions you would like to do, you could potentially select all the images on that page using the “Select All” box and then deselect the ones you do not wish to delete before pressing the “Delete” button.

I will also make note of your idea about updating our site to allow users to delete multiple consecutive images using the “Shift” key method you are accustomed to and it will be considered when we are planning future updates to our site.

If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.

Thank you -- that would be very helpful to select with "shift"! Along that line -- It would be much more efficient to have the "Go to page 2,3,4 etc" at the top of the page also, not just the bottom. Many times I know that the images I want to select for a listing are on the second or third page of pictures. But now I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to be able to select the page I want to go to.
I need to agree with OpDoc that this would be a welcome improvement.

Regarding this particular issue, perhaps the developers could use the "listing image selection" page, and replicate that functionality for other image management pages. Or to replicate the "upload image page" where you click on images to upload to Auctiva. That is pretty decent thumbnail selection functionality and could/should certainly be replicated in the image management screen. Just display as many thumbnails on the screen as possible, allow for multiple selections, and the buttons to "delete" or "move" or "rename" etc. (And while they are doing that, I think an "Image management" screen should include a button to "upload more images into this folder".)

Auctiva has the right collection of components to greatly facilitate ebay listings creation, it's just that they are assembled "awkwardly"

Mike, it's good to see that you do take the time to reply to so many questions. However, your reply of

"...and it will be considered when we are planning future updates to our site" leads to another question.

When do you think future updates might be planned?

There's dozens more common sense issues like this one that need to be addressed. Auctiva has so much potential to be the "goto" tool for ebay listers, but it's all these little inconveniences that frustrate and slow people down.

Thanks for reading.
Hi illinoisbubba,

Thanks for the additional feedback. We are continually planning what we will be adding with our future site updates and suggestions that have been submitted by customers are always considered during that process. I did not intend to convey that we would necessarily be able to add the previously suggested feature, but we will certainly consider it.

If you have any additional ideas regarding how our product could be improved, the best way to share them with us is by utilizing our Feature Center, which you can reach by mousing over the “Home” tab within your account and then clicking the “Feature Center” link.

The section of our Community Forum entitled “Suggestions” is intended specifically for feature requests and other suggestions, so that is another good place to share ideas that you would like to be considered by our product management team.

-Mike
