First put your photo in a separate folder on YOUR PC. Then go to Auctiva home page and click on images, click upload images, click basic html uploader, choose files and then upload them to Auctiva.

Now edit your listing and then when you are ready to post your photos to your listing click on the select image box. A screen pops up, click your mouse on the photos you want to post to the listing. A number will appear on the photo or photos you click on. It will be the order of your photos. Example: 1, 2, 3 ,4 etc.

NEXT do not click the upload button!!!! Scroll to the bottom of the page and click DONE. And, your photos post.

I have asked for those that post here to please give these step by step instructions, but they just give unhelpful answers like, well you can always use the basic html uploader. Thanks for nothing. Same to Auctiva tech support. A big raspberry to you!

Prior you were able to upload images while you were editting your listing. When your were ready to post your photos you could click on the select image box and also a pop up window opened, you would select your photo folder and select each picture, then uploaded.
It appears that auctiva has modified this programming.

Instead of going through the home page/images, and choosing basic html uploader, you can still do your uploading right in the editting of your listings.

Edit your listing, click on your select image box, !! A new and different pop up box shows up. Click upload, and a new design and different looking Auctiva image box shows up, Select your folder(right window pane), select 1 image at a time, click on the photo and hit the Add button OR drag image to your bottom window. Click upload when all images are selected for your listing.

The first couple of times I was getting an activex error message. I downloaded activex(I thought I already had it), and it seems to work fine now.

I kinda liked the old way better, but may get use to this.

Well the problem is: it doesn't work. It doesn't work well and it's slow. I am done with the new Uploader until they fix it. And by the way they are working on fixing it.
?:| Hi, Can anyone help me? I use to be able to upload my pixs w/ Auctiva & on my Mac, but the last couple months, has been a nightmare, all I do is spend hours, trying to get pixs on. They have apparently switched uploaders. I have wrote them several times, and they always respond, with what to do, but nothing is working. I can use HTML & Auctiva uploader, and have problems w/both. With HTML only 40% load, the others FAIL. With Auctiva uploader, 50%will load & the other 50% say "File to big" will not load. then, if they do load with Auctiva uploader, half the pixs appear as a small white piece of paper w/ an x, no pix. Anyone having this problem, or am I just stupid? Any other places to try? Photobucket? Anything, that works w/Mac? Ebay uploader works fine, but I love the templates, and fees on Auctiva. I guess this is just happening w/Mac users. Any help would be sooooooo appreciated!!!!!!
