Good Morning All: The blizzard is over and its time to ask for help again(no not shoveling)I have a small HTML video that I want to install in my auction. I tried pasting it into my discription area where I wanted to see how it fit. I went to preview and nothing shows up. Am I able to paste HTML into my auction layout or do I have to do it later from E-Bay.
Thank you all for your help again
Dave

Thank you for your response Danno. I should have thought out the question further.I am not sure if your reference to one-page is the same as what i did. I opened a saved listing and edited it. I switched to HTML and I pasted my insert at the top of the discription page. The format that I would be embedding is Adobe Flash Player. I hope this gives a little better feel for what I am trying to do. PLease if you have any further questions please ask. I appreciate your time and help

"One-page"...sorry, that's short-hand for the Auctiva one-page lister, which you use when you edit a Saved listing.

I know there are several methods and stock code sets around for the Adobe Flash Player. My other question on the location of the movie/flash you are trying to play is important, as Auctiva and ebay won't host it. If the redirect to the URL is correct, I assume you could display it correctly with PREVIEW from Auctiva, but that's a best guess (I haven't tried what you're trying Smile ).

If you do a PREVIEW and on that window/screen do a Right Mouse Click and select "View Source", you should be able to verify the embedded code is present and intact. I'm suspicious that it isn't working for other than the code being there.

Do you have a HTML editor like Frontpage you could use to copy the code from Auctiva and paste to its editor? That way you could use its PREVIEW to verify as a second check and make any "tweaks" to fix bugs.

Danno: Thank you once again. It appears you are right once again. The HTML does not seem to be transfering to the preview page. I also took the block and tetsed it on a HTML tester and it says the adobe flash and java have to be running. I think I have both running but that is what it tells me. I think it might be time to go back to the provider of the block and ask them what to try next. I again thank you Danno I am sure I will be seeking you out again soon
