So I'm showing all of my listings not being HTTPS compliant? However you all are listed as one of the sites to go through to be HTTPS compliant. I only use you all to list and nothing extra. Its from images hosted from you all. Here's the error I got when I run ebays new tools to check.

I just received the email, which says (amongst other things):
We’re automatically updating all Auctiva credit links to ensure they’re compliant. No work required on your part!
For new listings, all Auctiva credit links now point to an eBay page and are 100% compliant with the new policy.
For your already active and GTC listings, we will convert the Auctiva credit links to eBay compliant links, automatically."

Here is the issue: As I save all inventory that is out of season, I update it so that it is ready to be listed. This did not serve me well this season as I had to open each listing and update the templates. With this change coming, will I once again have to manually change all saved listing, individually, to incorporate the change?
Hello itsjustme,

You should not need to make any adjustments on your end - the links are being updated automatically and do not require you to make any changes to your saved listings. You should be able to post them as you wish with the updated links in place. We are currently in the process of handling this change for all of the active listings for all accounts as well, so if you have items up on eBay now where eBay may have messaged you regarding an issue with this, those links are currently being updated for all of our users.

If you do run into any difficulty, please don't hesitate to let us know what and where in a support case and we'll be happy to look into it.

Hello -

(itsjustme) links that can be used from our Description Editor tool that lead to other eBay pages will continue to operate as they normally do and are being included in our links updates to HTTPS URLs.

(bluebirds15) we are not aware of any difficulties with the templates or template selector themselves, although it is possible to see an error message in the selector window if you are not reaching the site securely (by using an older link/bookmark that does not use HTTPS). If that is the case, I suggest that you delete the old bookmark/link and then clear the cache of your browser then return to www.auctiva.com and create a new bookmark for it.

If the difficulty persists after that, please let us know the exact error message you are getting when you state that it always ends in an error as well as some examples of where you encounter this in a support case so we can look into this further.

OMG! I have just realised that supersize is not a feature any more! Using the link to the supersized images was one of the main benefits for me from using Auctiva!!!

If I had to change the photos from an old GTC listing, then I was able to access them from using the links to the supersize images, download the image to my computer and then edit the images. Then update the images onto the same listing saved in Auctiva's saved listings, get the HTML and replace it within the active listing, then manually update the images in the Gallery from the saved images on my computer.

Now I can't do that. And I don't see how I can find the images in my Auctiva Images folders that correspond to my active GTC listings! Is there a way to do this???

If I can't do this any more, I too will find no real purpose in paying for Auctiva..
Hello javacentric,

We are working on a solution to the supersize images feature that is compliant with eBay's new links policy restrictions. We will have more information regarding the solution in the near future and will let everyone know as soon as there is more information available.

The search functionality on the Image Management page of accounts does search by Image title - so using that search does require that you have the names of your images if you wish to locate them within what you have stored. There is no element of the search that will allow you to search your images by the listing they are associated with, but I can see how that would be a beneficial addition to the functionality of the page and recommend that you submit that as a feature request at our Feature Center located here.

Alternately, you can also rename your images in the image management area of your account as you add them or use them in listings (see the Actions column) to make searching for them easier.

That is the very problem I'm facing! I have almost 1 GB of images in my account or 7,415 images as I have been selling on eBay for over 12 years using Auctiva! They have random camera shot numbers, and do not have names or code numbers to link them with the listing!

I am a long term loyal customer. I relied on Auctiva, and particularly the super sized links between the images in the saved listings and the actual images saved in my Auctiva account!

So how am I supposed to find the images now with more than 7000 to trawl through? Previously, I used the link to the images via the super sized image link, and this worked a treat. Now I can't!!!

And as usual, we weren't informed about the change until after it was implemented! We weren't given warning that the super sized image links had to go plenty of time before it happened. for the last few days I have been trying to edit some GTC images without knowing why it didn't work and only yesterday we get the message when we login to Auctiva:

We’re Here to Help You
Comply With eBay’s Link Policy
Bla Bla Bla

Its a bit late to help, after the link has been removed without letting us get ready for it first!!!

So is there no way at all that you can suggest looking for the images needed other than trawling through 7000 images to find the relevant images and renaming them???
Hello javacentric -

We have approximately half of our templates updated with the new supersize images function, so listings posted using one of these templates will have the supersize images. As for your particular issue, please note that when you click to supersize an image from a listing you can then right click on the larger image and then select "Save Image As" to save the image or "Copy Image Location" or "Copy Image Address" to get the URL of that image on your system clipboard and then paste that into the address bar of a browser or a document for later reference if you wish.

The templates that currently have the supersize function are:
Alligator, American Pride, Antique Clock, Antique Flowers, Antiques, Aqua Ripple, Aquarium, Arcade Machine, Art Nouveau, Art Tease, ArtDeco, Artistic Flowers, Asian Bloom, Bamboo, Bamboo Parchment, Basic Blue, Basic Boxes, Black and Tan, Blue Planet, Blue Sky, Bookcase, Books, Business, Butterflies, Camo, Camping, Chrome, Circles, Clean, Clear Sky, Coastal, Collectibles, Color, Colorful Pattern, Colorful Squares, Comic Book, Country Kitchen, Country Lane, Curly Copper, December Snowflakes, Diamonds, Eco, Fairies, Fall, Field, Field of Sunflowers, Flames, Floral, Floral Silhouettes, Forest, Fresh Line Spring, Golden Dots, Gray Diamond, Gray Floral, Green Leaves, Halloween Graveyard, Home and Garden, Jewelry, Jewelry & Watches, Kitchen, Lavender, Lilies, Lone Tree, Magic Green Stars, Misty, Music Notes, Nature, Nautical, Palm Beach, Pastel , Pastel Halloween, Plain White, Professional, Rainbow Field, Red Honeycombs, Rose, Rustic, Scary Pumpkins, Scroll, September Fall, Simple, Simply Black and White, Smart Handhelds, Space, Sports, Spring Ladybug, Streamline Deco, Summer Sunset, Sunflower, Sunset, Tool Wall, Toys & Hobbies, Train, Tyres, Vintage Art, Vintage Border, Vintage Cars, Vintage Military, Violets, Vivid Lilies, Water Lilies, Water Waves, Wedding Day, White Wildflowers, Wild Flowers, Wooden, Happy Easter, Easter Vibes, Father's Day, Mother's Day, Celebrating Moms, St. Patrick's Day, Lucky

and we expect to have the rest of the templates updated with this functionality in the near future.
