New to Auctiva and listed first item this morning. Auctiva says it's posted and my ebay says I have an item selling but I can do a search on the exact title of my ad and it does NOT come up on ebay... Any ideas?

Yes, they take forever now to get the listing in. You lose 1/2 a day and all the newly listed time as well. By the time the item is "indexed" it is already lost in the mix.
Maybe not lost in the mix. ebay says they recently changed the "time listed" on a newly indexed listing to reflect the time it actually shows up in search, rather than actual posting time, thus bringing you to the "head of the line" so to speak. Still doesn't account for listing time paid for but not received. I also don't know if you might be losing out when a buyer sorts the search results under "newly listed".
