I cannot edit posted listings. can you help

No, it's not because of Auctiva...you can always revise thru Ebay just as before. Do you already have a bid, or less than 12 hours left in the auction? Those are the only reasons I know of that would prevent revising...

Thanks for the reply. Yes, you must be right. I do have bids on all the items. I have not had reason to alter any of my listings for a long time and I simply must have forgotten about that! thank you again.

That's the reason then. The only thing you could do now is to ADD to the listing, but it will only show way down at the bottom. And chances are, whoever is bidding will not go back to read it again. If it's something important, you could always email the bidders (That's a pain tho

You are right. But then again I suppose it makes good sense that some aspects of the listing should not be changed after bids are registered. It could create all sorts of problems.
Another thing I tried to do is to change the gallery photo that appears on the listing ( there are 3 to choose from) but I couldn't manage that either! Now, the fact that the item has bids should not make any difference in this respect. Has anyone ever tried it and succeeded?

Here's some instructions from Auctiva Mike on how to do this...BUT I don't believe it will work if you have bids. I've done it but I had no bids at the time. Anyway, here it is:




You can change your gallery image via the following process:

1) Log into your eBay account and click on "My eBay"
2) Click on the item for which you'd like to change the gallery image.
3) Right click on the image you'd like to make your gallery image and click "Properties"
4) Copy the image URL...it begins with "http://..."
5) Click "Revise Your Item"
6) Click "Edit Pictures"
7) In the "Gallery Image URL” field, paste the copied URL over the existing one and save your changes.
