Checked out your stuff, the pages loaded kind of slowly for me, thought I would mention that.

I just found out from a friend about the "vintage tupperware" stuff. Now I have to kick myself again. When I was working as an assistant for friends doing estate sales I would always haul away all the unsold Tupperware and it was a big joke. Of course I gave it all away to family friends! The things you learn that you didn't want to know.
Hi, Thanks for the compliments about my store. This is gonna be a long post because Im so late in replying.
Jewel, the fireking mug is great but its on the downside right now. I had 7 of these mugs and everyone of them sold for no less than $80 bucks. The most I got for one was $106. Its only worth about $40 right now. I have it priced very high because it will go back up again in value and I really dont want to sell it yet. Its one of those collectibles that gets hot then dies then gets hot again. Mostly buyers from Japan and Canada are interested in these Mcdonalds mugs.
Ken, The V-store is really nice. Your not going to get the traffic like you would a yourstore dot com type of thing unless you really advertised it alot. I have never done anything but submit it to search engines and link it to anything I can. I get on average about 500 hits a day which isnt alot..but not bad for never advertising it. I mostly sell on ebay, but its nice to have this free store for parking your merchandise until they become hot. But then I do collectibles and thats how they are. One day hot the next day not. And yes they are your products and your prices. The only thing vstore doesnt allow is porn. In any case its 100% free and ready to use. All you have to do is tell it what to do. Its that simple.
Doni, Ive sold tons of tupperware it just depends on what it is. In my experience though none of it is really valuable unless its something extremely rare but you can make a few bucks off of it. Its plentiful and sellable but like all collectibles, sometimes you just gotta wait till they get hot. I just sold a vintage small slot machine a few weeks ago for $130 bucks when they were hot. Right now I can buy the same slot machine for 15 bucks, they arent worth anything right now. I have tons of stuff here like that. Its a weird business..lol. But I love it.

Yeah, I hear you..I swear at least once every other month I'm NOT going to sell anymore. But then I take a day or two breather and jump back in. <smile>

On the firekings..smart move to put them up in your store for now. EBAY is going to be slowing down (already has) for the summer months. Someone could find your mug via an internet search and snatch it up.

If no one does? There's always the fall on ebay when sales start hoppin again.

Love the avatar!

Good Luck,
Donna
