I paid a woman to do a new template for us. She sent over a huge HTML thingy. It appears as though there are 2 options for us. Either create a Profile and plug the new HTML where the regular Description box is in the middle of that page- or we can go to the actual Create A New Template and create it there with all the Tags and such. We're confused on which option we should use, if that even makes sense. We want to be able to plug numbers EASILY into a chart she made for us, but it seems pretty complicated. Please help! Thank you

Hi,

The better option is to Create a Custom Template and use the tag system. It will give you maximum flexibility with placement and methods with images.

The "chart"/table can be used in the description box with that tag for ease of number changes (been there and done that for the vintage clothing sellers measurements table). That does take some consideration in design, i.e. the chart needs placement with description text, etc. to operate correctly.

I need a question answered that I can't seem to find from one of you good eBayers.

I had a complete eBay template HTML code copied. I pasted it in the custom template area and previewed it after just adding the "description and image" tags into the proper place on the template.

Next I then created my first listing and saved that also. Now I need a marriage.

How do I place the listing into the template before posting the thing? Is there a starting place first to use the template. I must be running past it!
