Hi
I've been using auctiva to list my auctions on ebay. Just recently (this past week) I opened an ebay store and started listing some stuff using auctiva. I'm having a bit of trouble getting those listing into categories and wondered if the problem was with auctiva. (I've posted a question on the ebay boards). So I'm reading thru the discussions and I'm so confused about the storefront info for Auctiva. Is this something different than the ebay store? I already have a web site, do I need the Auctiva storefront? So you see I'm pretty confused and anyone willing to unravel these confusing thoughts in my head I'll be very grateful to.

thanks
Linda

Hi Linda,

When you created eBay Store categories on eBay, you sync those categories to Auctiva using the "Update Store Categories From eBay" button in the Auctiva account preferences, eBay settings page. It's the same page you use to sync your Combined Shipping and Promotions. Hopefully, that will help the Categories problem and they'll show-up in the one-page lister.

The new Auctiva Storefronts are real eCommerce web sites, completely separate from eBay. Your eBay Store is strictly an eBay entity on the eBay site, where you list your Store Inventory items at those assoicated ebay list and final value fees.
