I'm losing & redoing 3X copy, etc. info from SAVED listings!

Hi. A few questions to clarify what's happening...

Are you copying all the shipping, etc info into the description box or using your profiles? If your using profiles, you can't see it by viewing your edit page. Click preview and it'll be there.

Are you loading the pictures directly into the description box or using the boxes underneath? I can't imagine why they would disappear. They should show up when you go back into it, either way.

Please let us know and maybe someone else will be along that has an explanation. If all else fails, there is always Support. They're great to help and have a fast response time.

I choose my template, then write my copy and (sometimes I choose full screen to write copy and hit the save button for this), then choose my pictures then do all the other information, shipping, marketing, etc. and then I click save at the bottom of the screen. After I go back to it a little while later, the copy that I wrote and shipping, marketing settings are gone. There is one possibility I am thinking of....I sometimes enter everthing and put a line of copy in and go back to it several days later and remove old line, put entirely new copy in and save at bottom. I don't think though that this should cause my problem. I will try again as I have alot more to sell and want to trace my steps seeing if it repeats. I should post new ones in a day or two and let you know.

I want to add that I don't think I use profile but I put some info into my template but reuse it. For photos, I use the boxes underneath. The shipping info I check off below, but put general info in description box. Thanks for your help and as I said, I will try to retrace my steps again in a day or so.

Hey Fram. Are you checking it in Preview to see that it actually has all disappeared?

It sounds like you could really benefit from setting up a profile or two, or more as needed. lol

They're super easy to do and then you can use a Master or just choose with each individual listing.

oh, and not sure if when i noticed text missing from description that i clicked preview at that point.... will look at that too

Good. The shipping and all that at the bottom only shows in Preview. I like seeing what it looks like all "put together" anyway.
