Hello everyone, i am new to Auctiva and i have a few questions, i hope i have the right topic info.
As of now, i am using my own website (non-auctiva) that i run from a server at home, therefore the connection and load time of the pictures are somehow slow. i purchased a domain with auctiva so i can do my store front. i also noticed that i can upload my images, but, is there a possibility that i can upload more than just my images? for example, i am using my own template, can i upload some HTML files for my templates?

thanks in advanced

Hi mensattire,

1) The custom domain you have purchased through Auctiva is managed by Auctiva and points to your Auctiva store, which displays all of your active eBay listings at any given time. The only way you can customize your Auctiva store are by using the customization options listed under the "Store" tab within your Auctiva account so, unfortunately, it is not possible to edit your store using HTML.

2) If you would like to use the Auctiva store domain you purchased to host your personal website, you have the option to purchase the domain outright through Auctiva, which will allow you to manage it however you'd like. If you are interested in doing this, please contact our customer support department using the appropriate link on our help page:

Hi mensattire,

The reason your domain remains registered to Auctiva is because you did not actually purchase the domain outright; you had Auctiva purchase the domain on your behalf to give your Auctiva store a unique URL.

The terms and conditions you agreed to when purchasing a custom Auctiva store URL clearly state that the domain will be "...managed solely by Auctiva and it will point to your Auctiva store". You can review these terms of service by clicking the "Store" link on our FAQ page, and then clicking the "What are the Terms and Conditions when you purchase a domain name through Auctiva?" link.
