We have many, many images hosted on different server. Do we have to move all of those images to Auctiva or can we leave them on the server they are currently on?

No, you can actually create listings through Auctiva that reference the images you have already stored on a different server.
To use externally hosted images when creating a listing, please click the "[ switch to externally hosted images]" link at the bottom of the "Image Selection" section of the lister page. Then, when you click any of the "Select an Image" boxes, you'll be able to add the desired images using their current URLs.
In addition, if you will be using externally hosted images for most or all of your listings, you can configure your account to use externally hosted images by default. This option can be found by clicking the "Account Settings" link under the "My Account" tab.
