Image Upload isn't working - Java Applet issue?

Yeah I'm having problmes too. I try to upload and all I get is x boxes and no images. Any help?

I'm having trouble with this too. Also, go to ebay & you'll see that your store window doesn't have any pictures in it for about 20 seconds (on my computer - I imagine that a slow computer isn't getting the images for quite awhile). Also, the listing templates are not loading right away either. I don't see anythng about it, but Auctiva seems to be having a problem.

Auctiva this problem with the images has been going on for months... whats the problem... with uploading,....everything was working fine up until 2 months ago.!!!!

why are the edit features not working also... they stopped working around the same time..

Encountered this problem myself a couple months ago, and the problem for me was a newer version of Java was installed automatically by my PC.
Reverted to the previous java version and all was fine.
The newer java version was also causing me to not be able to upload files via Godaddy's online FTP client. It fixed that also.

how do you revert back to previous Java?
I think that may be my problem.

Help! I have been using Auctiva for months, but this week, once I add my pictures, I cannot save and the site freezes. Have tried to correct by using the latest version of Internet Explorer, as recommended, but still have same problem. Any help would be appreciated...

I am new to Auctiva since yesterday Sept 18th. Anybody still having problems with the photo hosting and Auctiva? Was the problem solved? I tried using the Java uploader with Firefox 2.x and it worked however the detail view would not allow me to sort by column such as date, name, size etc. Also, I was unable to see thumbnail view in the upload dialog which is very useful.

Hopefully one of the Auctiva admins will reply or should I use the contact tech support form?

Hi Community,

While there are currently a few known problems specific to the Java Uploader, you should still be able to successfully upload/manage your images using the "Drag and Drop" or "Basic HTML" uploaders under the "Images" tab, or directly through the lister page.

If anyone is unable to upload images using the "Drag and Drop" or "Basic HTML" uploaders, or through the Auctiva lister page, please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

No, the "Drag and Drop" uploader only works with Internet Explorer.
