Hi, I have searched the forum in hopes to find an answer and I was not able to find anything. I suspect it is a browser problem, but I thought it was important enough to at least bring up to the programmers:

My templates are set to center the photos in my auction but when posted, all the photos are justified left when I am browsing in Firefox.

They display properly in Microsoft Explorer.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
Paul

I've seen this problem reported before, in the Forum.

My thoughts.....

I believe the Auctiva developers use predominanetly Microsoft tools, like Visual Studio 7.1.

Possible Firefox bug, as it's correct in IE. If it's a Firefox bug, then no problem with the Auctiva code.

Out of curiousity......

Are you doing your own picture embed or using Auctiva's image/template method?

Does it show incorrectly in preview, or only after submission on ebay?

Are you currently using an up-to-date V2 release or one of the V3 betas of Firefox?

Thanks Danno, I am using Firefox v2.0.0.14 on both my home computer and the one here at work. I could not tell you exactly what image template I am using, I know at one time I took a standard template and customized it myself. The Auctiva people are more than welcome to fish around in my account to help decide if it is my error or if it is a bug between Firefox and Auctiva. The preview does show left justified as well but the type will center...
I looked at a few of your Listings. Are you manually inserting (Insert an Auctiva Hosted Image button) and stacking those pics at the bottom of your typical listings as I'm seeing a single picture above the Title which I suspect is using template method, and then a group/stacked array (one above next) on lower portion of description which I assume are manually inserted? If so, are you using the picture alignment for those lower images with Image Properites or using the Center Justified just above the word Font on the coding bars?

To use Center Justified (which I've use for that exact purpose on past listings), select all the images you want centered so they show a dark over-shadow using the mouse and cursor method, and then apply that Center Justified.

See if that works as a test.

If not, can you describe the method (step-by-step) you're using to insert the images.

I think I'm seeing align=middle for the problem code on sample listing I checked, and my method uses align=center (verified checking HTML by test on the lister). I think middle is used as a wrap-text method and does appear as a property attribute on pic, but I'm a little rusty on my coding. Smile

Hello, I think I figured out how to fix this (After 6 hours of playing around with templates and html stuff)

I think it was customized wrong years ago when I first set it up. I had to delete the original custom template and start over from scratch. The images were set from the template and I could not figure out what was wrong so I just copied all the type, pasted it all in notepad to remove the formatting and repasted it into the template, reformatted it and it appears to work fine.

Here is my first test:

Thanks for your help!
