Hi

I signed up with auctiva primarily to use the scrolling gallery feature. I followed the instructions to the letter and expected my listings to show up in my auctiva account. My account shows no listings, with the result that my ebay listings are not showing a scrolling gallery.

I've obviously done something wrong but can't work out what. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi there
How come my ebay listings are not auctomatically Imported into Auctiva? I thought this was how it happend.

I also joined Auctiva for the same reason. I keep checking to see if this takes a few days to happen but nothing. I am now in the process of re-doing all my listings through Auctiva.. Damn nuisence as taking up more of my time.

I thought that this process was easy, quick and convenient.

And I came here ask the exact same question. I followed the instructions, then went to check my ebay auctions, expecting to see the scrolling gallery feature at the bottom of each auction. Nothing. Zip. Nadda. Clicked refresh etc and still nothing.

Either I am doing something wrong that is staring me in the face, or basically it isn't working at the moment.

Could someone on here please post in simple laymans terms, when we need to do to have the scrolling featuure appear on our auctions. I can then check to see if its Auctiva or us.

Just had a thought. Do we have to build the auctions in Auctiva for this feature to appear? Because they were made in ebay and have been up a day or so.

Best regards
Jayne
Hi all...I don't know if this is the answer or not, but it's a thought Confused

I joined auctiva over a year ago, but could not understand how to use it and NEVER listed through auctiva, BUT all of my ebay listings show on the auctiva scrolling banner every time. I never knew why, but now that you ask your questions, I thought of something Eek

Did you apply for your ebay token?

To generate your eBay token:

Click on the My Account tab
Click on the eBay Settings link
Click on the Get New Token link

I just know I applied for the token last year and maybe that is why my auctiva scrolling gallery has been working for a year without using auctive to list!

I am back NOW seriously looking at how to use auctiva (if someone will help me get started) because I can save a lot of money each month in photo fees.

I hope this is the answer for you!

Terri
Hello all Smile
I just registered and none of my active listings were imported to auctiva. I don't see a way to do this. I tried generating and ebay token again and that makes no difference. I wanted to edit all of my auctions in one go and save the changes to ebay. Is that possible?

I looked at my ebay listings and none of them have the scrolling gallery.
ho hum, i just read in the FAQs:
'Once you have generated your eBay token, your active listings will be automatically copied to your Auctiva account. It typically takes 6-12 hours for all of your active listings to be imported into your Auctiva account and appended with the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery.'

Maybe they should put this in a more prominent position, like the screen where you register?
Thank you for the replies Smile

Append scrolling gallery was done in the initial setup. I just checked and its already selected.

Its been more than 12 hours and still no joy. I guess auctiva don't work for me (and a few others above). Shame. I'll look back here later to see if anyone else has a way to fix it. I'm stumped.

Back to looking at iSale or GarageSale.
OK, now this is really weird.

Yesterday I sold one of my items on eBay. Auctiva is now aware of this and has marked it as closed, having supposedly been in the 'imported listings' folder. When I checked the imported folder it contained loads of my past ebay listings which were already sold. It also contained one of my current listings.

Has auctiva been importing from the wrong ebay folder? If so how do I reset it to draw from active listings only? And why is there a solitary active listing floundering around (still no scrolling gallery even on this one)?

I'm about to give up.
Hi Community,

There are a variety of reasons that could account for your active eBay listings not being imported into your Auctiva accounts and/or not being appended with the scrolling gallery, so I can't diagnose the exact cause just by reading over this thread. Instead, we will need to look at each of your account on an individual basis.

Hi Community,

Update - I just spoke to our technical team regarding this issue and am pleased to report that we believe the issue causing the behavior you have described has been resolved. If you active listings still haven't been imported yet, they should be imported automatically soon. If you would like to speed up this process, our customer support team will still be able to help you out with that.
