Hi

I'm new to Auctiva and i am trying to transfer my ebay account from Vendio (Andale) to Auctiva. Most of my listings are eBay store listings. I activated the token on Friday last week and Auctiva is now showing all my active listings.

How do I save these active listings so that i can store/edit/update them on Auctiva? I use custom listing templates that will need to be integrated into our Auctiva account and with all our listings. If there is a way to save the active listings so i don't have to recreate them all that would be very helpful.

So far its looking like i will have to recreate all the listings again in Auctiva which is going to be a lengthly task!

Hi,

You can import closed listings from eBay from the Auctiva Closed Listings page. That can probably help keep you going while you migrate, but the migrated listings won't operate to fullest advantage without template conversion.

In order to migrate templates to Auctiva, you need to look at Auctiva's template tag system, including how that works with Title, Description, Seller Details profiles and selection and placement of pictures. That will give you direction on how to convert your templates to create custom templates in the Auctiva system. A look at any of Auctiva's stock templates will give your coder some basics on how the tags are used. Any of the oldtimers (like me) can give you tips, as well.

I would recommend you view the tutorials and read the FAQ at the HELP link (top of page). It's a very "feature-rich" system, so taking the time to understand the system will definitely reduce cutover work and optimize use (improve productivity).

I've been reading some of the help sections trying to understand the ebay to auctiva store thing too. CUrrently, Auctive only brought over 4 of my listings. THese were listing I did without a template.

In layman terms, those not understanding all the features and voculary speak of Auctive, did you say the rest of my auctions didn't come over because they have a template from another site? I will have to change the template to an Auctiva one, therefore meaning...I will have to do a lot of copying and pasting from the current Ebay auction to an Auctiva template? Did I dummy down my question too much where it doesn't make sense? lol
Kaedyns,

If you look on your closed listings page on Auctiva:
http://www.auctiva.com/listings/ended.aspx

You can select any of your closed eBay listings and import them into Auctiva. You can pick and choose which listings to import by using the checkbox on that page and then hitting the "Import Listings" button.

Once you have imported, the listings will now show up on your "saved listings" page within Auctiva:
http://www.auctiva.com/listings/saved.aspx

Your images will also be imported.

Hope this helps,

-Kevin
