In Manage My Images..Is there a way to Keep the images in Sort by Name

The only way I can see to keep all the images of each item together is to put them in a separate folder for that item. Sounds like a good candidate for the Suggestion box.

I prefer to assign the lot or stock number to the image and when there is more than one image for a listing add a letter suffix to each image to ensure all are kept together and in the desired sequence after upload. And definitly use folders for batching items.

To assure that all my images are kept together and sequenced in the correct order, I already assign my images a name and when there is more than one image for that particular listing, I do add a number to it. My suggestion to Auctiva is, that when you log into your images, you have to click the "SORT BY NAME", to make sure that all of the images that belong to each group will come up in sequenced order. Otherwise, when you log in, many times it's in the SORT BY DATE order.
