incorrect API error message help!

Okay, someone give me a hand here. I keep receiving this API error message when trying to list my first item on ebay. I chatted live with an ebay help person last night and they checked my description, the title and said everything was perfectly fine. I followed ebay's rules in the auctiva listing info as well (can only sell this item within the US).

Here is the error message:

API Error

eBay has not posted your item due to title, description, and/or eBay policy violation. Please contact Auctiva support for more information on why your listing has failed to post.

I've contacted auctiva and haven't heard anything back.

Your help is appreciated.

I keep having the same issue and I have tried over 10x. I also contacted Ebay live help but they said Auctiva is a third party and they do not work with them. I emailed Auctiva as well and no one has gotten back to me. I also cleaned cookies/cache/rebooted my computer as well as used diff pics and descriptions....so annoying.

hi there sagean27-i am a newbie myself and had the same problem a few weeks ago...what it ended up being for me, was i had checked the box saying i would accept 'merchant credit cards'...check and see if you've done the same thing...as soon as i unchecked that box my listings went through no problem..have a great day, cinderella

cinderella here again--guess i should have told you WHERE to look for that info...did you create a checkout profile?...look there to see if you checked the box 'accept merchant credit cards'...hope this helps, cinderellla
