Info in sellers profile

Hi everyone. I'm brand new to Auctiva, and eBay selling. I'm just getting started making my 'sellers profile'. Under 'about me', what sort of information should be used? Next under 'contact me', how much info should be put in there? just my ebay selling email address?, and isn't my email address usually only available through ebay via their email process, in other words through ebay the buyer has to GO THROUGH ebay to contact me, and can't get directly to my email address? Do I want buyers to get my direct email address? were my questions clear as mud? help an old grandma learn, please. Right now I am just selling lots of different stuff. not a store or anything. Thanks to all in advance.

Hi! I will see if I can help with your questions.

Under About Me, do you have an About Me page on Ebay? If so, you can add a link here directly to that page and/or just tell a little about yourself. That is what I did on mine.

Also under Contact me, you can set up a link here so you are not giving out your email address on your listings which you do not need to do.

Here is one of my listings to give you an idea of what I wrote:

The other option is that you could just leave some of the things blank. I have all my info in the payment and shipping slots so I did not use the Terms of Sale category. If you want to set up links to the different things (i.e. contact me, About Me page) you can click on the userlinks button at the top toolbar when you are working in your profiles (it is on the right hand side). Here you choose from a list of links to include in your auctions.
