Initial Questions about Auctiva

Every company is out to make money...and though all of this stuff on Auctiva is free, they must be making money somehow. How are they making money out of offering this free stuff? Are there any fees AFTER an auction ends? Is there a Auctiva service that you have to pay for??

1) There are no fees after the auction ends=) The only way to accrue a balance with Auctiva is through our revenue sharing shipping insurance plan. If you use Auctiva Checkout and have shipping insurance enabled, which are default settings for your account, your customers will have the option of buying insurance for $1.30 per $100 of value. Of this $1.30 you recieve, we would bill you $1.05 and we would purchase the insurance on your behalf. This way, you would make 25 cents each time a customer buys insurance through Auctiva.

2) Auctiva also has desktop listing and auction management software available for a small fee at http://classic.auctiva.com
