I have a current customer who has requested a tracking # for their already shipped item which they purchased insurance for. They believe since insurance was purchased, they should receive a tracking #. Does anyone have a suggested reply that I can give to the customer? Is there a tracking #? There has been no claim. Just a question from the purchaser of the insurance. I personally understand that insurance is not for nor does it take the place of tracking or delivery comfirmation. Is this what I tell the customer? I usually get delivery comfirmation but international shipping like this one, does not always allow for it. In short, after the long verson, what is the best way to answer this new customer?
