Insurance for international shipping on a per profile basis

The only time I would like to use Auctiva insurance is for first class international mail, which I only make available for select auctions. The problem is that Auctiva profiles do not allow me to select insurance for international shipping for an individual profile - only through the global settings. I am not going to include Auctiva insurance through the global settings - so for the time being it means that I won't use it at all.

Hello!
You can always purchase insurance for your International 1st Class shipments without having to set up any global "auto-purchase" rules.

Just go to your Sales Transactions page and locate the item you are shipping, and click on "Add Insurance." This method allows you to generate policies on an as-need basis, whenever you need to.
You also have up to 72 hours after the recorded ship date to purchase it.
