Inventory Control

Welcome! We are glad you joined us here at Auctiva. Regarding inventory, we have inventory functionality as part of a long list of new features we are developing for our Phase 2 release. That release is anticipated in Q1 of 2007.

I'll tell you this...I do not trust any auction management service with inventory, especially the big ones, like Marketworks. In a multi user environment, anyone can edit the available number, say, to relist something before the UPI is closed, then the item automatically relists, and there you are selling something you don't have. No way to know who edited, what the original # was, etc. Maybe Auctiva can do better, but the big boys sure can't. I recommend QuickBooks if accuracy is important to you.

The inventory function that you are designing is it compatable with Quickbooks ??

Thank you "Fairy Odd Mother" for your comment....I waited a few days after my comments before responding to this post....and I'm disappointed....no one from auctiva responded....or commented....maybe they would like to put in to a business model $$$$ that they could unstand.....If this is not deleted I will be surprised
