Is Auctiva All or Nothing?

Yes, tho, it's all or nothing. You'll have to manually add the scrolling gallery to the listings you want in order to keep it off the ones where you don't want it.

If you have us append it, it's all or nothing. If you put the HTML in yourself then you can pick and choose which listings.

We used to have a trick that would let you put some HTML into your listings that you didn't want it in which would tell our robots not to append those listings. I'm not sure we still offer that feature or not.

I'm thinking on signing up for Auctiva under a different eBay account. So when I first sign up, how do I indicate that I don't want you to append it to all of my listings, and that I was to add it manually?

I was thinking (uh-oh) if you're talking about new listings... Why couldn't the default be set to OFF, and on each listing while it's being created, check the box that says to add the gallery. Would that work? Or am I way off in my 'thinking'? lol

Where is a box for scrolling gallery? Maybe I'm blind but I don't see it..I only see the boxes for Ebay's gallery pic, gallery featured, etc.

Down where you choose your template, ya know? It's just to the right of that.
There are two question marks... first has a drop down for seller details.
If you blank out that second line, it removes the title from the top of your listing.
Below that is a box to check or uncheck to use the template-matching scrolling gallery.

Mine stays checked by default because I want the gallery in all my listings and have chosen that option. If the option to NOT include it was used, wouldn't it work to check the box and selectively use the gallery? It seems it should.

Hi Miss S - doesn't that 'Use Template Matching Gallery' option only determine whether the colour of the gallery will match itself to whichever template you are using for that particular listing (so you don't end up with a pale pink template with a garish green gallery, or something like that)?

I thought it was for whether you wanted the gallery in that listing or to uncheck it if not.

I suppose it might do that too, never tried it though
