Major problems that have just about done me in.
Copy and paste?

2nd is you can preview all you want and looks great, but not after listing. This is on the "TAX "setting as it never saves into the listing and has cost me money. Shows in preview but not always making it to the real auction page. 8.250% is what it has to be???

Profiles are complicated and do not seem to stay set - I have deleted all many times and started over - days of it.

I just need one profile

I am I the only one having these new problems?

Hello, Auctiva User! I am having a problem ALMOST like yours. I have been trying to list all of my items on this site, for ebay, and it is very frustrating when you reach an ALMOST DONE point, check out your listing so far, go back to your page, and ALL OF THE INFO IS "GONE"
There should be more SAVE info areas~ during the listing so that you dont lose everything. What state are you from? Your tax rate sure is high!! Did you ever get your problem straightened out. One thing I really like is that Auctiva isn't hard to reach if you have a problem, and WILL get back to you promptly UNLIKE EBAY!! good luck with your sales.. jg
If your having trouble staying logged in to complete an ad try entering you screen name and password but before you click login check the Remember me button.I was having real problems completing a listing till I started doing this.
Also if your taking a long time to complete a listing Auctiva will put you into a sleep type mode that takes forever to get out of,BEFORE you save a listing, Create a new window in your browser go to auctiva's home page and log out and back in then save your ad after it logs you back in. 90% of the time this will save you a bundle of time and work.
Hope this helps
I am from Texas and our Tax Rate is HIGH

Hello Again Cool
I forgot to answer some of the other questions, I saw here. Sorry it took so long to get back.
About the Templates. You need to go into each section and save them separately. You need to have cookies enabled and pop-ups enabled to save them properly. Also you might want to try opening that extra page I talked about in my last post before saving them.
Once you have the modules saved go into PROFILES area. Click on the Create a Master listing link, when it opens Set it to Store,Auction or Fixed price whichever you use the most and select each module in it's proper section, don't forget to click on LOAD once you select the Module or it will NOT save it! Then when all the modules are installed Click on save and Save it as your master listing model. Then when you go into Create a New listing all you will need to do is to load that module name at the top right of each new listing and all of your settings will load at once.

The Tax thing works sometimes for me but not consistantly,neither does my Return policy so I always go into ebay right after posting 2 or three of them and make sure it is working right.
The secret to this is working right for you is to set it up at ebay preferences the way you want and it will work properly,you may have to check the box at ebay but it's already set up so it's no big deal, even if you don't set it up at Auctiva in each ad.
While I'm there I also turn on the Visitor counter and Double check my Catagories. There are times when Auctiva screws the catagories up really bad, I once chose a modern comic book catagory and it ended up in the Cell phone catagory. I have to admit that it was right after ebay had added a whole bunch of catagories at once and renumbered a whole bunch of stuff too so it just hadn't been updated at auctiva yet, I still check them since ebay does that about once a month.
So when you revise your listing at ebay you
* Check your catagories
* Turn on your Counter
* Then Check the Tax box( the tax amount should be saved in Preferences at ebay)
* Click on the Return policy checkmark box then Cut and paste your return policy into the Return policy area. ( You cannot list an item on ebay express unless you have a return policy and buy it now even if you have the other requirements at least: 100 feedbacks minimum 98% positive and you take PayPal of course.

Hope this has helped all of you!

Sincerely,

pwessa
Hi Vernon,
I know it's a pain, it has been working just fine since I entered all of the information at ebay on the tax chart preferences by just activating it on auctiva for me.
I still take the time to check the catagories and revise the listing and turn on the visitor counters, it's just part of being in business on the internet.Once you get used to it it takes about 30 seconds a listing if that.
