I've got several hundred (and growing) books I'm wanting to sell on eBay, and the Auctiva system looks like it will be much more user-friendly and time-saving than listing directly with eBay. However, I noticed that even for "Buy It Now" items, they only remain listed for 10 days. Can items be automatically relisted? If not, how hard is it to relist them?

Also, since I'm just starting off as a seller, cash flow is an issue. I'd be looking at fees of 10 to 12 cents per book per month by listing them directly on eBay, but would my fees be higher through Auctiva since I'd have to relist items every 10 days?

Hi showmethemonet,

Auctiva does not currently offer any automated relisting options, however, we will be adding finctionality of that nature as part of our Phase II release, which is tentatively scheduled for Q1 of 2007. Currently, in order to relist your items and remain eligible for the listing fee reimbursement from eBay, you will need to relist your items directly through eBay.

If you are listing a "fixed price" item, you can post your listings for up to 10 days, however, if you have an eBay store, you can create "store" listings that can be listed for 30 day or "Good 'til Cancelled" durations. In order to list "store" items through Auctiva, first select "store item" as your sale type on the top of the lister page, and then you will be able to choose from the extended duration options.

Using Auctiva, you can post eBay listings for the same durations as directly through eBay, and the only fees you will be charged are the standard eBay insertion, marketing tool, and after sale fees. However, you can save money listing through Auctiva by taking advantage of our free cross promotional store window, free unlimited image hosting, free templates, free scheduling, free super-sized images, integrated checkout, and more. You can also put up to 16 images in each listing through Auctiva without being assessed any additional image fees by eBay.
