I'm trying to figure out what's going on here, usually i would have about 20 listings written by now and I have only 5 or 6 done. Does anyone know if the site is being real slow or if it's just me?

If it's just me any ideas why or how I might fix it?

Thanks

Cat

I have never experienced the system being as slow as it is today. It may have something to do with the technicians trying to reslove all the other problems that were caused by the most recent update.

I agree with your frustration. It has been frustrating all week long, since the update. What is even more frustrating, is that the help desk, seems to also have gone "poof" no one has responded in two days to open issues.
It's off and on slow for me right now too. Some things are fast and normal speed, then going to the next page is really slow.

We just put out a new release Wednesday with consignment and scheduled relisting among other things and made some optimizations Thursday with our database guys. They're on now looking at things and we should be back to normal later. Try around 8pm GMT-7 (California time.) Sundays form 5-7pm is the busiest time all week and this is probably the busiest day this year so far.
It is soooo slow. It took me 2 hours to list one item. I am brand new as of today. When I listed my one little item it affected all of my other 13 auctions on Ebay and they just disappeared. They just now reappeard. Now it is 9:15 EST and I have no gallery scrolling and one auction is still not up and running. Anyone else having this problem as a brand new member?
YES, the server is slow. The one dang day that I set aside to work on my listings and WOO HOO--Auctiva's servers can't handle the traffic. I think it is due to SO MANY folks on here trying to post last minute because its the "no list fees" promotion ending tonight at midnight on eBay. Get used to it folks! This is how Auctiva has always worked. Wait until the next eBay listing promotion, and this will happen all over again....guaranteeed.
I had been thrilled with Auctiva since I joined several months ago. Always fast and I even found it was super quick on 'Listing Special' days and Sunday evenings.
I gave up trying to create listings here yesterday and went back to my old Service Provider so I could get them finished for today's 'end of listing special'. This evening I listed all the ones from the other provider just lickety-split...so it was not a slowdown on EBay.

Then I had to list the ones saved on Auctiva and I always prefer to do it manually so I can control the space between auctions. I was SO frustrated...took forever for pages to load.

I finally finished but this is awful..I sure hope you can put everything back the way it was before the program update.

Darn good point! I didn't think of that. Oh well good job I usually have some auctions ready for the days I don't want to or can't list lol I'll use them and maybe get some listed tomorrow.
Thanks Cat....and that's what I do too--have listings ready for the promotion day and then schedule them a few days early. It sure works out better that way than to try and wait until last minute and do them....like tonight. Crap! My own fault I suppose, but just didn't have time all month with my crazy job, but since I quit it on Friday planned to post like a fiend this weekend....does staring at "page cannot display" messages count as hard work?!?!?!?
A few months ago when I first started using Auctiva, one of the more experienced listers told me that the speed of the Auctiva server gets slower when more people are trying to list. Makes sense - just frustrating. This is Ebay's last "free listing" night and I think we're all trying to list. I have this problem frequently with Auctiva on the busier listing nights. The problem is that I really like Auctiva better than one I'm paying monthly for but I can't COUNT on Auctiva working all of the time. If it was more reliable I would gladly pay them for their service!
