Is there a way to bulk edit (remove) international shipping from listing

Hi John,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. Provided you are just looking to remove the statement regarding international shipping from the “Shipping” section within the template of your active listings, you should be able to do so using our Bulk Revise tool that is designed to allow you to find and replace text within your descriptions.

Once you have selected one or more items you would like to revise in this manner on your Auctiva Active listings page, you should be able to make this change by doing the following:

1) Click the “Bulk Revise” button
2) Select “Description” from the “Select Field to Edit” drop down menu
3) Enter the text you would like to remove or replace in the “Find this matching text” field
4) Enter the text you would like to replace it with in the “Replace with this text” field OR leave it blank if you would just like to remove the text
5) Click the “Continue” button
6) Click the “Confirm Changes” button

This particular tool is designed to search through the description HTML of your listings so, if there is HTML code in the midst of the text you are looking to replace, you may need to include the full HTML code used to create that segment of text to make the revision successfully.

Also, this text is being added to your listings through your Seller Details profile so, in order to prevent this text from showing up in future listings you post using this Seller Details profile, you will want to make this change within the Seller Details profile as well.

You can modify this Seller Details profile by mousing over the “Profiles” tab within your account, selecting the “Manage” option under Seller Details, clicking the “Edit” option next to the profile you would like to edit and then save it again after making the desired change.

Thanks for your usual quick help.....what i am trying to do is to bulk remove from my saved listings any international rates/service etc that are shown. basically i do not want to ship internationally anymore.

once removed i would use the saved listing to list items.

Thanks for the clarification. There is an option available as part of the Find and Replace tool that can be used to replace all the shipping fields in your saved listings with the details from a shipping profile, but that would only help if you would like to apply all the same shipping details to all of your listings.

If you are only offering free domestic shipping via one specific shipping service in all of your listings, for example, I believe you may be able to use this tool to effectively remove the international shipping options from your listings.

If you would like to revise some of your saved listings in this manner, the first thing you will need to do is create a shipping profile that contains the new shipping details that you would like to apply to your listings. You can create a shipping profile by mousing over the “Profiles” tab within your account and selecting the “Shipping” option under “Profiles”

Once you have created this shipping profile, you will then want to select the items you would like to revise in this manner on the Saved Listings page within your account and do the following:

1) Click the “Find and Replace” button
2) Select “All Shipping Fields” from the “Select Field to Edit” drop down menu
3) Choose the shipping profile you would like to apply from the “Shipping Profile” drop down menu
4) Click the “Continue” button
5) Click the “Confirm Selected Listings” button

Assuming you are going to be using your existing Seller Details profile for your listings you will be posting without international shipping, don't forget to remove the statement about international shipping from your Seller Details profile as well!
