ISBN #

If you select a category that has this information available (such as a Books category), then a "Find Product" link will appear underneath the category number textbox on the lister page. Clicking this link will open a popup window where you can enter your ISBN to pull up the book information.

I don't get these options - is this feature available regardless of which country I list on?

Just to be clear ... I create a new listing ... choose a category ... I chose a book category ... and then there should be a "find product" link somewhere underneath?

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi tardis33. Sounds like you are doing it right. I get the Find Product link. I do know it doesn't show up for Antique and Collecables category. I use it with fiction, nonfiction and audio books. Lately when it pulls the book up for me, it freezes when I choose and click next. Clicking a second time makes it work.

Did you select the category first and it shows up on the lister page? Which category # did you select?

Yes, it shows up under the category box, on the lister page itself. NOT inside the category selector box.

Maybe it doesn't work for AU, I'll try it and see.

I've tried a few other book categories as well - still can't see it though

If it is absent on AU listings only - maybe I should change my settings to the US - then copy/paste the info over?

Well it doesn't look available for AU. Also the category trees are completely different. In the US you can only choose Books->Childrens books and that's the farthest level down. AU lets you go much further in the category tree.

I tried choosing some categories on the eBay.au sell your item form on eBay's site and I couldn't find anywhere that I could get the prefilled item data by entering an ISBN. Perhaps it's not even available there?

So do you think I can do the copy/paste thing by changing my country code in Auctiva? Am I allowed to do this?
