Thanks for contributing to our forum. I am not aware of any technical problems that should prevent you from using the options on the description editor toolbar to make the types of changes you mentioned to your listing descriptions, so I am not quite sure why you are running into trouble when attempting those revisions.

I have not been able to reproduce this behavior, so I think there is a pretty good change that clearing your browser cache and then restarting your browser will resolve the problem for you. In order to go this in Google Chrome, you will just need to do the following:

1) Click the “Settings” option that looks like a wrench and select “Tools” then “Clear browsing data”
2) Ensure "Empty the cache" and "Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data" are selected and click the "Clear browsing data" button
3) Close and reopen Google Chrome to ensure the new settings take effect
