This time I have proof! lol


Notice the date on the calendar is PINK
It will not allow you to select the date to schedule the listing.

This has happened before and several posted to the topic at that tiem that they were having the same issue. Yet the reply I received from support at that time made me think they thought I was nuts! I'm not nuts it is happening!

PLEASE get this fixed.

I'm around. But I'm not scheduling. So does it happen every day at this time? Or does it only happen when the day you are trying to schedule it for is Thursday?

Is it maybe because the time is set to 11:44pm and you are trying to schedule it for a Thursday? That would fall in our maintenance time. Maybe we don't let people schedule from 10pm-2am on Thursday night/Friday morning. I suppose you could test that as well.

What happens if before clicking the date control you first set the hour of the day to say 11:44 **AM** then click the control to choose the data for the 21st?
Well I can schedule mine for that time if I don't touch things and leave the date as the 21st. But if I try and click and change it to the 22nd, the 21st is then pink and it wont let me select the 21st anymore.

When that happens you should just enter the date manually into the box. I just tried that and it worked. Even after the 21st was pink I just typed it into the box 02/21/2008 and hit tab to go to the hour field and it accepted it. That seems like an acceptable work around until we find the freaky pink box coded, lol. Wierd.
Jeff, you need to talk to your customer server people because this is pretty funny at this point.

THE image I put on the HTTP thingy on the support ticket is the one posted above. Strange that you all can't see images on your own server, lol.

HUMOR ME - log in about 15 minutes to midnight and attempt to schedule soemthing for the next day. So at 11:45pm on the 21st attempt to schedule something for the 22nd and it will be pink and not allow you to schedule until after midnight. Sure you can schedule for the 23rd but you can't pick the very next day.

hhhhmmmm don't you think you should have those answers?
I have no clue if it's always when attempting a Thursday or not.
Why would you select the time before you select the day?
Would it even allow me to select a time if they day had already past? That seems wrong?

I'm 1 person, and I don't spend all day doing support. So no, I don't have the answer. I did quite a bit in trying things out myself in this case though. I won't be able to try anything tonight because it's maintenance and I'm out of town until Sunday night taking our 3 month old to see his great grand parents in Southern California. I think there is already enough info for someone at Auctiva to look into it. Until then use my work around just type in the date any time you see the pink box.

The image is fine. I'll show them how they can view it when I get back Monday.
Did you try my fix? I know it works, cause I did it. Do it and you too can schedule even when there is a pink box. Just type the date in the box. Don't use the drop down javascript thingamajig. Where you see the date just click it and type in a day. Also what about changing the time first then selecting a day? For sure I know typing the date in works. Not sure about doing the time first.

The interesting thing is time is that it's not a Thursday maintenance day so that doesn't seem to have any relation.

Last Friday I was sorting out scheduling items for next Thursday evening (UK time) and Saturday came up pink, got the impression that it was unhappy about me potentially listing something at times too late to be achieved. Did not cause me any problems for Thursday though.

This is strange because I am sure I have even scheduled items only 30 minutes ahead on a busy day and all went ahead ok.
