I'm getting this message when trying to list. "Your description appears to contain one or more email addresses as shown below. eBay does not allow email addresses in the item description and may reject your listing. Please see the eBay links policy for more information." Yet, the only address I have is for the pay pal address, so if I delete that then I get the 'invalid' pay pal address. My gosh, I'm just trying to list ONE thing today, please help. This is becoming massively frustrating when all I'm trying to do is list one thing for now. Am I going to go through this each time from now on?

Hi lmrntx,

Thanks for letting us know about this. Ebay made a policy change relatively recently to make it so sellers can no longer include references to email addresses within the descriptions of listings, and the API error you mentioned receiving indicates eBay blocked the listing from being posted because they detected an email address was included.

If you previously added a "Contact Us" link to the listing, or included an email address in any other matter, I believe you should just need to remove the link and/or email address reference from the description of the listing in order to post it successfully without encountering another one of these errors.

If you encountered this error when attempting to relist the item from your Auctiva Closed Listings page, you would need to use the "Edit and Relist" option next to the item in order to be able to edit the description in this manner during the relisting process.

If you are unable to find a reference of this nature in the listing, please contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the "Help" tab and selecting the "File Support Case" link and we will be happy to look into this further for you.

-Mike
