Hope someone can help me. I'm new to Auctiva and have been struggling to get a listing completed with it. I have my text in the description box of my listing as black, and when I do a preview it is showing up as a light grey. Also information in the seller details areas are also showing up as light grey in the preview. However the text I have changed to blue in the listing is showing up as blue as it should be in the preview. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, if anything has prooved to be most aggravating and unreliable of listing aids are preview windows in both Turbo lister and Auctiva.

The underlying code (HTML) seems to get in such a mess especially with font sizes, colour and size that I gave up editing or direct entry of text into the supplied design editors.

As I am not an HTML guru I write most listings in MS Word and copy&paste the result into the design editor.

Even then sometimes font size may look wrong on preview but experience has proved that usually what I paste in looks right on the live listing even though it may look wrong in eBay's or Auctiva's preview tools.

I think the underlying problem is due to the less than rigorous syntax of HTML rather than the editors themselves. Also text size can be dynamic i.e. it can be changed by text size selection and window width.
