Hi. been reading lots of posts from years back and this Item Specifics still seems to be a problem. I too, like others before me am confused as to why when I enter some Item Specifics, they do NOT post on eBay. It is a real pain and defeats the purpose of listing on Auctiva if we have to continue to go back into eBay and go through the listing and revise it to show the VERY IMPORTANT item specifics. I can almost always be able to choose NEW or USED, but the other choice only allows a 'name brand' and dollar amount...not too helpful when selling vintage items from 50 years ago. Have I been missing something?

We have almost the exact same question, except Im not seeing where when creating listings on Auctiva there is an Item Specifics area. Item Specifics are CRUCIAL on eBay to have Raised Search Results, and nowadays on eBay...this is vital. Only listings that have the item specifics properly filled in(in the selected eBay categories) receive decent/good visibility. Where is the option on Auctiva to add these details when posting??

THANKS!

I can see the CHOOSE ITEM SPECIFICS and/or CUSTOM ITEM SPECIFICS once I choose my first Category. It comes up next to a tiny "?". Some categories only have one choice, some have both.
the CHOOSE ITEM SPECIFICS is underlined in blue and usually only refers to the 'condition' of the item: New or Used in a drop down list.

CUSTOM ITEM SPECIFICS is underlined in blue and I think is VERY confusing. sometimes, it seems you are to enter a $$$ value, but I guess the Detail Name can refer to something like Manufacturer.
So in Detail Name you would type MANUFACTURER and then in Value: you would put the name of the manufacturer ie: Nike and hit Submit. Then you can put another 'detail name' like perhaps YEAR and the year of production or something like that. My problem is that it seems that even though I do this, they do not carry over the the posted ebay listing. Is this what you have found also???
hey, you should give the URL to your store so we can see your store! If you click on the GO tap above the messages then click on PROFILE then in upper right corner View/Edit Complete profile then scroll down to Public Profile Fields and type in your Signature,STORE URL and whatever you want each Post on the boards to show. Then you don't have to do it everytime. Just a thought if you want to do it. Each of us likes to look at other peoples stores!
I JUST FIGURED OUT WHAT I WAS DOING WRONG! YOU DO NOT HIT SUBMIT UNTIL YOU ARE ALL DONE ADDING YOUR DETAIL NAME AND VALUE. CLICK ON THE ADD BUTTON, THEN YOU CAN ENTER ANOTHER SPECIFIC...AS MANY AS YOU WANT. CLICK THE ADD BUTTON EACH TIME. WHEN YOU ARE ALL DONE, THEN CLICK THE SUBMIT TAB!!!
