Item Variations???

Hi stormasis,

Thanks for helping to bring this issue to our attention. I reviewed the issue you described and it appears that our system is still showing the "Add/Edit Variations" option for category # 72855 even though eBay no longer allows variations to be created when listing in that category.

I have forwarded the details over to our development team so they can work on updating our eBay category data such that our listing creation form no longer shows that “Add/Edit Variations” link when this category is selected.

In order to successfully post the listing(s) that have failed due to the API errors message which says “Selected category is not enabled for variation listings”, you should just need to remove the variations from it and then try posting the item again.

You can remove the variations from a listing by clicking the “Add/Edit Variations” link on the listing creation page, removing all of them using the “Remove Selected” button, and then clicking the “Done” button at the bottom of the interface.

My issue is when the Multi-Variations are generated I receive one or more error messages that a particular variation does not have a price. However, there are prices in the correct field. Support just advised it may not be fixed until the NEXT BIG UPDATE. I cannot wait, so I guess I will take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately I have lost 480 variations because of this and on hold 2 days now. Help!
