So frustrated!!!! I just got through the free trial and finally took the plunge to purchase a subscription to Auctiva. I managed to set up every profile I possibly could, downloaded and organized over 90 pics, watched videos and read 101's and after all that I managed to get one posting up. I then proceeded to try to post 15 more and over an hour later realized that NOT ONE of them had posted. All over again, I tried...all errors, AGAIN! Re-edited every single profile I had and re-listed AGAIN!!! I can't even tell you how unsatisfied I am. I did submit a help desk inquiry but at this point I need resolution...anyone else have this problem?

Hi snoangel,

I reviewed your account and I'm pleased to see that you were able to get your listing that was originally rejected due to this error posted successfully.

For the benefit of others who may read this post, if you attempt to post a listing through Auctiva and eBay's system detects that the listing contains Java Script code that is prohibited by eBay policy, the posting attempt will be rejected and you'll see the following error if you click the red number in the Notifications section along the top of your account:

"Either your Description, Location, or Checkout Instructions appear to have Java script in it according to eBay. eBay is very strict about anything that looks like it may be Java script. Try checking your description for parenthesis and try posting without them if they do exist."

Ebay's policy on HTML and Java Script can be found on the following page of their help index:

If you are unable to identify the offending code in the description HTML, checkout instructions, or seller details profile in order to resolve the problem, please contact our customer support team by mousing over the “Help” tab and selecting the “File Support Case” option and we'll do our best to help you out with that.
