Hey yall! Im just really getting started in the online sales thing. I made an attempt a few years ago and was discouraged easily and just quit messing with it. I sold my jewerly line person to person and via word of mouth. Well anyhow, I began to look into expanding into E-bay again, so, thus I am here.

I would LOVE any tips any one has on Auctiva, E-Bay and selling in general. I'm hoping to turn this into a nice part time income. (its just a hobby now)I have read a book or two on ebay and their rules and tips, but I dont know anyone that sells more than a few odd pieces of junk here and there. Im wanting to open a market for my handmade jewerly, (and get rid of some books and such).

Thanks yall!!

SmileI am new here too and am an artist and am again go to try and use Auctiva again.

I have sold some things on ebay, and bought some things also. I still wish I could learn how to make a living on this also. I have some things I am going to put up, jewelry and clothing-vintage and new and used gently. I am always missing the online learning part times, for Auctiva. Hopefully ,everthing is working on here now. I am a bit confused about something to do with Auctiva and I will try to find the answers to it first. Hopefully, I can get somewhere here now that I have learned a bit more about computers.
For the hand made items (crafts, jewelry, etc) the most important thing will be to make sure you get a GREAT picture of the items. Auctiva's ability for the bidder to see a larger picture will greatly increase the probability that your potential buyer will have confidence that they are getting a good product. It's up to them to figure out if it's worth the cost. Good pictures are alright, but GREAT pictures are unbeatable.
