I'm glad I found out about this service. Ebay was nickel and diming me to death on pictures but I don't know too much about the service. So I'd like to ask the group what they think of Auctive compared to other services out there? Some of the posts seem to indicate dropped images, and it's important to me that they stay around through the auction. I need a solid image hoster. Have I found it?

Also, can you add pictures to auctions that you've already listed on ebay/other sites? I know you can do it on ebay but not sure about Auctiva. How?

Thanks for any help!

I personally have not had problems with their image hosting. Their image server is pretty solid, IMO. Others might disagree, though.

Listing can get pretty frustrating at times. Server errors and lockups are more common than they should be for a reliable service, but they are improving, and support is generally very good here.

Pics can be added to any listing service. Just use the html link provided for whatever picture you want to use. Adding pics to ebay after the ad has been posted must be done through ebay's "Revise Item" function - you can't do it on the Auctiva website "in real time".
Only once did I have an issue of pics disappearing, to be replaced with that little red 'x' that we all hate seeing! Auctiva support is wonderful, I filed a support case and it was fixed in no time! I can only speak for myself, but my photos are 100% better since I began using Auctiva, I love this FREE service and would never go back to Ebay photohosting! Smile
