Linking New Domain Name to eBay Storefront

Hi there. I saw that someone else recently inquired about this, but I don't believe it was resolved.

I just opened a store, and also purchased a domian name through Auctiva.

I would like to forward my new domain name to my eBay storefront. For example, I would like to be able to produce a business card or other promotional materials that provide my new URL - http://www.MYSTORENAME.com. When potential customers enter this URL into their browser, I would like my eBay storefront (http://stores.ebay.com/MYSTORENAME).

I hope this makes sense. I am a bit baffled that I haven't been able to resolve this yet - it seems so simple!

Hi Kari,

In accordance with the terms of service associated with purchasing a custom Auctiva store domain through Auctiva, your custom domain remains managed by Auctiva and can on;y be used to point to your Auctiva store.

Since you would like to use that domain to point to your eBay store, you have the option of purchasing the domain outright from Auctiva for a flat fee of $19.95, which would allow you to manage its DNS settings however you'd like.
